Toyo-Sasaki's Hard Strong (HS) Glassware is the most recognisable glassware brand in Japan's foodservice industry. It's the robust and hyper-functional glassware you see at every diner and ramen joint around the land. Hard Strong (HS) refers to Toyo-Sasaki's original glass toughening process that results in extremely durable and scratch resistant glassware. 

The HS Fino range won the Good Design Award in 1987. It has the same toughened glass as the orginal series,with a premium fine finish. The Amuse-bouche receptacle for all dinner party good times. Also a really nice low size and shape for drinks. Stacks beautifully.

Toyo-Sasaki glass company began when two of the oldest glass manuafacturing companies in Japan merged, Toyo (est. 1878) and Sasaki (est. 1902). Toyo-Sasaki debuted the HS range in 1967 as Japan’s first toughened glass drinkware brand. The HS brand has since been appreciated as the industry standard for over 50 years by the Japanese food service and hospitality sector.
